Who we are
Geffen's Project is an independent music project. This policy covers this website (geffensproject.com) and the small tools the project uses to publish its own videos and to measure how its own releases do.
Visitors to this website
- We count page visits and a few actions on the page (for example: the player started, a section opened).
- With each count we keep the country and city that the hosting network reports, the device type, the operating system and the browser. We do not keep your IP address.
- To count unique visitors, we keep a one-way code made from your connection details and the date. The code changes every day, and we cannot turn it back into an IP address.
- Links to other sites (for example Spotify or YouTube) pass through a short redirect on this site, so we can count the click and which page it came from.
- We use no cookies for this, no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
- Links in our emails can carry a short code, so we know which invitation a visit came from.
Forms
If you fill in a sign-up form on this site, your answers go to a Google Form owned by the project. We use them only to contact you about the event you signed up for, and we never sell or share them.
Move Your Body Battle entries
If you send an entry on the battle page, we store your name or crew name, your country, the version you chose, the platform, the link to your public post, your email address and your tick that you are 18 or older. We use them only to run the battle, to check your post, and to contact the winners. We never sell or share them. We delete them within 90 days after the winners are announced, or sooner if you ask.
Our tools and Google, TikTok and Instagram data
The project's own tools connect to the project's own YouTube channel, TikTok account and Instagram account. They upload our videos and read the statistics of those videos (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves and account totals). They do not read data about any other person's account. The use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove the tools' access at any time at Google account permissions. Instagram data is read through the Instagram API and follows the Meta Platform Terms.
How long we keep data
We keep visit counts and video statistics for the life of the campaign, and at most two years.
